Information for Sponsors

The Ocean Shores Art Expo has been running for 18 years since 2004, initially as the Ocean Shores Art & History Expo and then with its current name. While the Expo has previously been held at the Ocean Shores school, because of ongoing Covid restrictions preventing events at the school, this year the Expo will be held at the Ocean Shores Country Club in the main room opposite the drinks section.

As a volunteer non-profit organisation, we rely on sponsorships to support the costs involved in organising the exhibition and the associated cultural events.

Sponsors of this Expo are special individuals and businesses who support local community events and cultivate a greater sense of community through the arts. In return, they benefit from the potential exposure both during the lead-up to and over the event weekend.

There are many ways at different levels to assist the Ocean Shores Art Expo, all very much appreciated.

There are seven categories with prizes awarded in each category: 7 First ($1,000) prizes and 8 Second ($500) prizes (Please note Oil & Acrylic have 2 x Second prizes because of the size of the category):

Oil & Acrylic
Mixed Media
Sculpture / 3D art
Photography
Digital Art

There are many options for Sponsors:

1. Platinum Sponsorship: Sponsors of any category including First and Second Prizes $1,500 are extensively acknowledged with:

  • Your business logo hyperlinked on the front page of the Expo website & the category page
  • Social Media mentions of your business as related to the category winners
  • Public acknowledgement at Awards Evening
  • Display of business logo at Expo for two days and ongoing for a further 4 weeks online.  

2. Gold Sponsorship: Individual Category First prizes of $1,000 are acknowledged with:

  • Your logo hyperlinked at the head of the category page of the Expo website
  • Social Media mentions of your business as related to the category prize
  • Public acknowledgement at Awards Evening
  • Display of business logo at Expo for two days and ongoing for a further 4 weeks online

3. Silver Sponsorship: Individual Category Second Prize of $500 are acknowledged with:

  • Your logo hyperlinked on the category page of the Expo website
  • Social Media mentions of your business as related to the category prize
  • Public acknowledgement at Awards Evening
  • Display of business logo at Expo for two days and ongoing for a further 4 weeks online

4. Sponsorship of the High School prizes ($1,100) Gold Sponsorship for all prizes, or prizes can be individually sponsored as well with acknowledgement.

  • $100 First Prize x 7  + $50 Second Prize x 8

5. Sponsorship of the primary school student prizes

  • Total of $250

6. Raffles: these can be gift certificates, business products or anything that promotes your business and would be appreciated by the Community.
