Stephen Newton is a sculptor and educator based in Brisbane. He has completed large scale public realm commissions in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. He lectures at TAFE Queensland Brisbane while developing sculptural projects of place with public, private, government and first nation stakeholders. His work is closely connected to the beauty found in natural materials and are found in many collections throughout Australia. He has also been a participant in the SWELL Sculpture Festival, on the Gold Coast.
Stephen will judge the Sculpture and Mixed Media categories.
