Artist Statement:
Jess Chap is a self-taught artist residing in the Gold Coast hinterland. Born into a family of artists and craftsmen, art and design are a way of life. Capturing the beauty of our shared country Australia focusing on land and seascapes, figure work, and still life, Jess is still emerging and finding her style and has been painting and selling mostly through private commissions for the last 7 years. She has exhibited in many group shows and solo in local cafés.
