Artist: Corolyn Larke
Inspired by the song Imagine by John Lennon who described it as “an ad campaign for peace.” It is no surprise that his moving anthem is a beacon for those who long for global harmony. “Imagine,” written in 1971 during the Vietnam War, has become a permanent protest song and lasting emblem of hope. Spiral wire, where one coil hooks into the next symbolizes ongoing global conflict. This contrasts to the expression of a song in guitar-form that celebrates the ideal of something profoundly better.
