I have recently started to experiment with studio lighting to create painterly still life photos. I am inspired by the beauty of natures craftsmanship. This still life image is of Pincushion Protea’s and my Great Aunt Linda’s exotic vase. For me this photograph celebrates the stunning colourful flowers and the passing on of memories through family heirlooms.
