Artist: Holly English
My work is autobiographical, about my own personal experience, and about the things society usually doesn’t talk about; shame, trauma and grief.
Animals are a big part of my artwork, on all the mediums I work with. I tell stories. Ones that seem relatable and helpful to some. I aim to find the beauty in death, hope in endings, and celebration amongst our daily sorrows. My photographic practice is to find joy in the fleeting.
Materials and process:
Digital photography print on pearl matte finish, in oak frame.
