Artist: Lachlan Robertson
I am celebrating ‘fleeting glimpses’. Briefly a monk flits across a wall of stone faces but the orange aura lingers on. This small flash of orange took me longer to paint than all the stone as I wrestled with the size, level of abstraction, intensity of colour and finally I found that crayon dust sprayed with layers of sealant best represented the image in my head.
Materials and Process:
Acrylics on canvas mounted on a pine frame.
