Artist Statement:
My name is Margot Brown and I have lived in the Northern Rivers area for 10 years. I am passionate about my painting and whilst living in Sydney I painted only watercolours.
I now enjoy painting larger acrylics, and have exhibited in the Ocean Shores Expo for many years .”Celebration” seems like an apt title for this Expo and I felt it called for a happy and colourful painting depicting Spring. This painting exhibits an unusual palette for me as I usually paint in softer hues.
