Artist Statement:
Gold Coast local artist, Madeline uses inspiration from the eastern coastline. Often dabbling in En Plein Air with gouache and paper to create further work on canvas.
Dedication, a Celebration, is about the commitment lifesavers display throughout their lifetime. Our unsung hero’s start out has young nippers, learning everything about the ocean’s beauty and hidden dangers to keep swimmers safe from harm. This depiction of young nippers assessing the waves displays proactive enthusiasm.
Materials and process:
Archival acrylic on stretched canvas, framed in white box frame with glass, gloss varnish finish, ready to hang.
