Artist Statement:
Where I live (Murwillumbah) is the source of my inspiration and celebration. Where else does anyone have the pleasure of viewing this amazing landscape, including the Rail Trail Tunnel, at Burringbar? On a daily basis, we are truly blessed with continual beauty and mostly good weather.
My aim is to capture and celebrate the beauty of where I live, with my landscape acrylic paintings.
Who am I as an Artist? I like to think I am down-to-earth, realistic, fun and a little bit of a rebel.
Materials and Process:
Acrylic on canvas. Finished with a satin varnish. Floating frame of natural light wood.
