Artist Statement:
My work is a metaphor for the celebration of hope, dreams and accomplishments after years of floods, fires and Covid.
I completed a Certificate of Visual Art at Byron Community College in 2015 and a year at Byron School of Art a couple of years later. My art is an exploration of different media and ideas.
Materials and process:
This collage incorporates a huge range of processes including: printing, solar printing, cyanotype, stitching, pin pricks, paint, crayon and pressed flowers. The material was fixed to the canvas with Golden soft gel matte medium and sprayed with an art fixative upon completion.
