Artist Statement:
I’ve been inspired by the stories voiced by women in recent years and wanted to create a series of work celebrating female resilience. I called the series ‘Inner Worlds – Restoring the Feminine’ and it was exhibited at The Old Pacific in Newrybar in September this year. I believe our stories are told through the eyes, so my focus is on the subjects faces. Each woman tells her own story of restoring an aspect of the feminine, and each aspect was a part of my own healing journey.

Charcoal, acrylic and oil on marine ply board with recycled oak frame.
