Artist Statement:
I am a teenage artist with many creative interests including painting, drawing, photography and ceramics. These last years I have been exploring expressive painting techniques, mostly using acrylics and inks, painting a variety of subject matter. My inspiration for this artwork “Noah” has evolved from a series of portraits that I have been painting. I took a photo of my friend Noah, I drew his portrait and then created this painting, for me this painting symbolizes and celebrates friendship.
Materials and process:
For this painting I have used acrylic paints and inks on stretched cotton canvas. using expressive brush strokes for layering of colours and textures.
